Day 1: Canada - Amman (Jordan)
Flight with a good itinerary

Day 2: Amman
Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport where you will be met by our representative to help you through formalities then transfer to your hotel in Amman. Dinner & overnight. (Dinner)  

Day 3: Amman - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Shobak Castle - Petra
Breakfast. Pick up from your hotel in Amman, head to visit Madaba, a city best known for the famous 6th century Mosaic map of Jerusalem & Holy Land and for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Proceed to Mt. Nebo, a city mentioned in the Bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land that he would never enter. 

Drive by Shobak Castle, known to the crusaders as Mont Real (Krak de Montreal), built in 1115 by King Baldwin 1st of Jerusalem. The impressive castle stands as a lonely reminder of former Crusader glory. Arrival to Petra, transfer to your hotel. (Breakfast-Dinner)

Day 4: Full day Petra
Breakfast. Departure for a full day in the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra with a local English-speaking guide for 4 hours. Petra is one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through a 1KM long narrow gorge which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. The site is massive and contains hundreds of elaborate rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars, and colonnaded streets. In the afternoon, time on your own to explore Petra. Return to your hotel. (Breakfast-Dinner)

Day 5: Petra - Little Petra - Wadi Rum - Dead Sea
Breakfast. Visit Little Petra, a Unesco world heritage site famous for its ancient buildings sculpted out of solid red sandstone. The place where Nabateans used to entertain their guests. It was one of the main commercial areas of Petra, the entry and exit point for the trade routes to the north and north-west. 

Head to explore Wadi Rum on a 2 hours jeep ride into the Jordanian desert! Wadi Rum was best described by T.E. Lawrence (aka Lawrence of Arabia) as “Vast, echoing and god-like”, and by the locals as “Valley of the Moon”. Transfer to your hotel at the Dead Sea. (Breakfast-Dinner)

Day 6: Dead Sea - Jerash - Amman
Breakfast. Departure to Jerash for a 2-hour visit to the ancient Roman city with a local English-speaking guide. Walk the paved and colonnaded streets, and take note of the soaring hilltop temples, theatres, spacious public squares, plazas, baths, fountains and city walls. 

After the visit, you will be transferred to Amman for a 2-hour (approx.) tour of the capital city of Jordan. Your visit includes sites and museums such as the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The Citadel, the blue mosque, and the Amphitheatre. Transfer to your hotel in Amman. Dinner & overnight. (Breakfast-Dinner)

Day 7: Amman (Jordan) - Cairo (Egypt)
Breakfast. Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure flight to Cairo.

Arrival at Cairo airport. Greeting and transfer to the hotel. (Breakfast-Dinner)

Day 8: Cairo - Aswan (Sleeping Train)
Breakfast. Start Full day tour of Pyramids (from the outside), the Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum. Lunch in a local restaurant. Transfer to the train station to go toward Aswan. Overnight on board in a first-class cabin, dinner on-board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 9: Aswan (Beginning of the Nile cruise)
Breakfast on board the train. Arrival to Aswan and transfer to the port to embark on the Carnival Nile cruise ship (Or similar cruise). Visit the Aswan High Dam, the Philae Temple, and the unfinished Obelisk. Lunch & dinner on-board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 10: Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu
Breakfast. Enjoy the cruise facilities or opt for an amazing optional ($) excursion to Abu Simbel. Sailing towards Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Sobek then continue to Edfu. Lunch & dinner on-board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Abu Simbel optional tour + $185 / person:
Breakfast. Early morning transfer from Aswan to Abu Simbel to visit the Abu Simbel Temple which is considered to be one of the most impressive sites in Egypt. Here you will visit the two temples built by Ramses II as a high-architect before he became a Pharaoh. The 100-foot-high Great Temple is world famous, which features 4 statues of Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari, each 65-foot high. Next to the Great Temple is the temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari. Both temples were originally carved in a mountain. In 1965 they were moved 600 feet and raised 65 feet, thanks to an international project to save them from the flooding caused by the construction of the High Dam. Return to Aswan.

Day 11:  Edfu - Esna - Luxor
Breakfast. Visit the Temple of Horus. Continue towards Esna and Luxor. Lunch & dinner on-board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 12: Luxor
Breakfast. Visit the West Bank of the Nile including the incredible Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch & dinner on-board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 13: Luxor
Breakfast. (Disembarkation). Visit Karnak & Luxor Temples. After the visits, you will be transferred to your hotel in Luxor. Dinner & overnight. (Breakfast-Dinner)

Day 14: Luxor - Cairo
Breakfast. Transfer to Luxor airport to take your flight to Cairo.
