Day 2: Lima

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure to start your exploration of Lima. (Breakfast)

Lima, the capital of Peru, is a sprawling city that concentrates a third of the population of the country. The historic center of Lima, with its colonial buildings and museums, is very popular but the city is also young and dynamic, like Barranco, a trendy neighborhood bustling with small restaurants, art galleries and designer boutiques.

Day 3: Lima

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, half-day guided city tour of Lima where your local guide will show you around Lima's most iconic streets and plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, you will get a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Heading toward the city center, you will stop at Huaca Pucllana, an important ceremonial center of the Lima culture developed between the 3rd and the 8th century. In the historic center, you will visit the Main Square (Plaza Mayor) where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. Then, you will visit the Cathedral and explore the Church of Santo Domingo, a resting place for two important Peruvian saints: San Martin de Porras and Santa Rosa de Lima.

The rest of the day is free. You can also opt for an interesting half-day tour ($) of Lima including the beautiful Larco Museum, an antique tavern and the Magic Water Circuit. (Breakfast)

Optional tour ($) including the Larco Museum, an antique tavern and the Magic Water Circuit (+ $149 CAD taxes included per person)

In the afternoon, experience a different side of Lima. Learn more about 5,000 years of Peruvian pre-Columbian history at the Larco Museum, housed in a colonial mansion of the Viceroyalty of Peru dating back to the 18th century, and built on top of the remains of a Pre-Columbian pyramid from the 7th century. Continuation toward an antique tavern where you will be delighted by some delicious Peruvian sandwiches accompanied by a drink made of Pisco. Finally, you will head to the Magic Water Circuit, the largest water and light show in Latin America where you will witness the perfect communion and harmony of water, light, music and images.

Day 4: Lima - Cusco

After breakfast at the hotel, greeting in the lobby of your hotel and transfer to the airport in Lima for your flight to Cusco.

In the afternoon, half-day tour of Cusco with your local guide. You will start with a visit of San Cristobal Plaza offering a panoramic view of the city before heading to San Pedro Market to soak in local flavors and to learn more about products grown in this region. Continuation toward the magnificent Coricancha temple, whose Quechua name means "Gold Temple" and whose walls were covered in gold, and the Convent of Santo Domingo. Then, you will walk from San Blas, the artisans’ neighborhood, to the Hatun Rumiyoc street, stopping at the Inca Roca Palace which is home to the Archbishop’s Palace and the famous Twelve Angle Stone. Arriving in the Plaza de Armas, you will visit the Cathedral with its valuable colonial masterpieces. Overnight in Cusco. (Breakfast)

Continuation toward the Inca and colonial village of Pisac where one of the most beautiful archeological sites in the Sacred Valley is located, at the top of the mountain overlooking the colonial town of Pisac. You will have a walking tour of the colonial town followed by some free time to take a look at the handicraft market. Then, you will head to the impressive Inkariy Museum for lunch.

After lunch, you will get an interesting tour of the Inkariy Museum where your local guide will take you into the world of the fascinating pre-Columbian civilizations.
